My name is Bekah Doerr. After nearly a decade in the dental field, I realized early on that the heart of every successful practice comes down to three things: the patients, the team, and the doctor.
Throughout my years in the office, I fell in love with the inner workings of dentistry—the constant rhythms of organizing, planning, training, and communicating that keep a office thriving behind the scenes. Nothing was more rewarding to me than solving operational challenges so that doctors and their teams could do what they do best: care for people.
How Lighten Co. Came to Be
In early 2026, after welcoming my second baby in less than two years, I made the deeply personal decision to step away from my traditional role in a dental practice I truly loved. I wanted to capture the flexibility of being present with my young family during these fast-passing years.
Out of that transition, Lighten Co. was born.
I founded Lighten Co. to bridge the gap for practice owners who need high-level operational support, clear systems, and tailored solutions without the overhead or constraints of a traditional full-time role. By blending deep industry knowledge with flexible, custom practice solutions, I help Kansas City dentists streamline their operations, empower their teams, and reclaim their peace of mind.
